Email supportWhat does the Andersen Hitches Lifetime Warranty cover?
The warranty covers manufacturing defects in materials or workmanship for the lifetime of the product. Certain components like cables and locking pins may have 1-year coverage. It does not cover normal wear, cosmetic fading, misuse, accidents, or non-Andersen parts.
How do I know if my dealer is authorized?
Your warranty is only valid for products purchased from Andersen Hitches or an authorized dealer. To verify a dealer CLICK HERE . Products from unauthorized sellers are not covered.
Do I need to register my product?
Yes. Register your product online within 60 days of purchase to activate your warranty. Past purchases must be registered by December 31, 2026. Always keep proof of purchase as it will help if you file a claim.
Are there any maintenance requirements?
Yes. Regular maintenance and proper use of the product and towing system are required. Damage resulting from improper maintenance, misuse, or neglect is not covered.
Does the warranty cover damage to my trailer or vehicle?
No. Andersen Hitches is not responsible for damages to trailers, vehicles, or non-Andersen products used with our products.
Can someone else transfer my warranty?
No. The warranty is valid only for the original purchaser and is non-transferable.
What if repairs or alterations are done without Andersen authorization?
Any unauthorized repairs or modifications void the warranty. Only repairs approved in writing by Andersen Hitches are covered.
Does this warranty cover acts of nature?
No. Damage caused by fire, flood, lightning, or other acts of nature is not covered under this warranty.
What are the limits of Andersen Hitches’ liability?
This warranty is exclusive. Andersen Hitches is not liable for incidental, special, or consequential damages, including loss of use of vehicles, trailers, labor, towing, storage fees, or personal property damage. The sole remedy is repair or replacement of the product.
Does registering cost anything?
No. Warranty registration is completely free.
